Rafael Ortiz, co-founded NexTag, the largest comparison shopping site for products and services, in 1999 and served as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. He retired from the company after its $1.2 Billion sale in 2007. Prior to NexTag Rafael served as an evangelist for Apple Computer and in sales for ROLM/IBM. He is the co-author of In the Company of Giants (McGraw-Hill 1997). Mr. Ortiz has an MBA degree from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
Sara graduated from Parsons NYC and Paris with a Masters in Architecture before returning to the West Coast where she worked in interior architecture and design. Sara holds certifications from Sotheby’s Institute of Art in Art Business and Antique Connoisseurship, and Bachelors of Arts in Art History and English Literature from The University of Washington.
Christine founded a successful clothing boutique in Los Altos, and directed expansion to Palo Alto before joining Project YX. She leveraged her work in purchasing and marketing at tech firms, gaining national recognition for discovering and promoting independent clothing designers prior to their international popularity.
